The South Bay Today is a community information tool for the South Bay area, operated by Stoa Works LLC. We respect your privacy and keep things simple.
What we collect
Simply visiting the site doesn't require personal information. We don't use cookies for tracking. We don't run ads. We don't sell data.
Basic analytics (page views, general location) are collected via Vercel Analytics to understand how the site is used. No personally identifiable information is gathered.
Newsletter
If you subscribe to the morning email, we store your email address with our email provider so we can send it. Every issue includes an unsubscribe link.
Social media
We maintain accounts on X, Bluesky, Threads, and Facebook. When you interact with our posts on those platforms, your interactions are governed by each platform's own privacy policy. We don't collect or store your social media data beyond what's publicly visible.
Tips and feedback
If you submit a tip or feedback through the site, the message is sent to us. If you choose to provide an email address, it is included so we can reply. We don't collect or store your IP address with your submission.
