Alice, Formerly of Wonderland
Watch the coming-of-age story of Alice Liddell and Prince Leopold unfold onstage at Lucie Stern Theatre.
Seven-time Emmy Award-winning writer Mark Saltzman illuminates the beautiful coming-of-age story revealing the truth behind the fairy tale between Alice Liddell—the real-life inspiration of Lewis Carroll's classic tale—and Prince Leopold, Queen Victoria's youngest son. Brimming with wit and emotional spark, this a cappella musical weaves between Victorian reality and Wonderland whimsy, revealing a tender connection shaped by duty, distance, and the ache of what might have been. Perfect for the holiday season, Alice, Formerly of Wonderland glows with warmth, longing, and just enough wonder to feel like a gift.
