Seed Packets Demystified
Learn how to read seed packets and catalogs so you can actually pick and grow the right varieties.
Seating is limited. Registration is recommended. Walk-ins are also welcome. Do you love to look at seed catalogs and seed packets but wonder if you'd really be able to grow plants from seeds? Do you stare at the seed rack in your local nursery puzzling through what variety to plant and when you should plant it? Most seed packets contain a wealth of information to help you plant seeds of the right plant in the right place at the right time. But many of us don't bother reading the fine print, and jump straight to the planting. Join us for a lively discussion and analysis of how reading the fine print on your seed packets can help you be more successful in your garden. Infrared assistive listening systems are available for use during this event. Please see Library staff for assistance.
