Teen Entrepreneurs & Small Business Skills
Learn what it takes to launch a small arts and crafts business as a teen entrepreneur.
Pre-registration has been extended to Saturday, October 24th at 10 AM. Curious what it might take to start your own small arts and crafts themed business as a teen? Review real-life case studies based on teens who started their own small business through the AR Trepreneur program. Learn about basic business skills and apply them to your case study. Analyze and make recommendations for your case study business in a slide presentation then learn what the real-life teen business owner did. Group collaboration will be an important aspect of this program. Teens will review: Products vs. Services, Target Audience, SWOT Analysis, Differentiation, Supplies & Cost, Pricing, and Branding. Teens are encouraged to group up to review four different case studies. Teens are encouraged to bring their own laptop or tablet to collaborate on their group's slide deck but some laptops will be available to borrow during the program. Pre-registration is recommended but not required. The program will be capped at 20 on the day of the program. Those who are pre-registered will be given priority if capacity is met. Pre-registration will open one month before the program and end the day before. This program is specifically for middle and high school students, 6th-12th grades.
Preregistration is recommended but not required. Limited to 20 participants; preregistered teens receive priority if capacity is reached.
