Math Buddies
Get one-on-one math tutoring from a volunteer in a 15-20 minute session at the library.
Math Buddies provides students in grades K-3 with an opportunity to improve their math skills by working one-on-one with a volunteer. At Math Buddies, volunteers sit with participating children for an individual, 15-20 minute tutoring session. Volunteers may help participants complete math homework assignments or math worksheet(s) provided by Math Buddies volunteers. Math Buddies creates a positive learning experience for students who may be struggling with math or lack confidence as math students. Free. Pre-registration not required. However, tutoring sessions are available on a first-come, first-served basis, and the availability of sessions may be limited depending on the number of volunteers and/or participating children.
