Family Storytime + Stay & Play
Sing, rhyme, and play with your family at Village Square Library's storytime and stay-and-play session.
Storytime is designed to accommodate a mix of ages and invites the entire family to participate in early literacy activities such as stories, songs, rhymes, fingerplays, and movement activities. Storytime is a fun and interactive experience for the whole family that promotes the joys of reading and learning for all ages. This program is geared for children of all ages and their parents/caregivers! After Storytime concludes, families are invited to Stay & Play! For 30 minutes after storytime, special, age-appropriate toys will be available to keep the fun going. The librarian will also be there to answer any questions, recommend books, and talk to families! Free, with limited capacity. This program is developed to align with the Early Education Quality Standards.
Seating for Storytime is available on a first-come, first-served basis. A limited number of tickets will be distributed at the Information Desk 30 minutes prior to the start of Storytime.
