Come and prepare for Day of the Dead/Dia de los muertos, by learning a few, simple make-up techniques that you can do on your own or someone's face, with Bay Area multi-cultural arts educator, Rachel-Anne Palacios. We'll provide supplies to learn and practice, but please come with a clean face. Rachel-Anne Palacios is an Afro-Chicana Oakland native, multi-cultural arts educator, and self-taught folk artist. She has been teaching art workshops and classes at Bay Area schools and libraries for over a decade and a half and her lessons and projects are inspired by indigenous cultures and traditional art from around the world.
