Dogbotic Build a Synth
Build your own synthesizer step by step in this beginner electronics workshop led by Dogbotic.
Registration is required. Seats and materials are limited. Please only register if you plan on attending. Ever wanted to build a synthesizer? In this beginners workshop led by Dogbotic, participants will learn the process step-by-step, demystifying the horrible world of electrical engineering at every turn. Youll learn how to build basic oscillators, filters, LFOs, and amplifiers, how to rig up your circuit to be light-sensitive, and oh-so-much more. Each participant will make their own working synth prototype, which well tune together to form a delicious sound bath. Youll then get to take your prototype home and use it to impress and irritate your friends and loved ones. All parts are included, no prior circuitry experience or musical ability needed! This class is intended for ages 15 and up only. A Sci-Fi September Event This event is generously sponsored by the Friends of the Mountain View Library.
