It's sunny and climbing to 82, the kind of Thursday that rewards getting outside and staying out. The World Cup Round of 32 takes over Alamo Drafthouse in Santa Clara, with matches on the big screen from noon into the evening, and the July 4th weekend is already spinning up around this weekend's Rose, White & Blue Parade. Add a new Jane Stanford exhibition at the Cantor and Giants baseball under the lights, and the day has a clear shape.
